Disabled Access Day returns on Saturday 12 March 2016
The annual Disabled Access Day is set for its second year on Saturday 12 March 2016 and aims to encourage disabled people, their friends and families to visit somewhere new, whether that’s a coffee shop, cinema, museum, gallery, sports centre or anywhere else.
Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums is joining over 100 venues that have already signed up to take part in the day, with many special treats planned for visitors with disabilities.
