Festive Tales

Times 

 10.45am, 12 noon, 1.45pm and 3pm (relaxed session)

Price  

Tickets are £10 per child, inclusive of booking fee. 

You only need to purchase a ticket for babies accompanying siblings with a ticket if you'd like them to receive a gift too. 

There is no additional charge for adults, but all adults attending must have a valid Annual Pass. 

Due to space restrictions we ask that a maximum of 2 adults accompany each booking. Please get in touch via email if additional carers are required for your party. 

An Annual Pass is £11 (£10 without optional donation) for adults, £10 (9 without optional donation) for Concessions (Over 60s, disabled visitors*, Student Card Holders and adults accompanying Max Card holders). *Accompanying carers - Free.

You can buy your Annual Pass in advance online, as part of your event tickets, or on the gate (but make sure you arrive with plenty of time to do this on the day).

Step into the magic of Christmas with Festive Tales – a heartwarming experience where children can meet Father Christmas and share their Christmas wishes, and take home an early gift.

Each group session includes a cosy festive story time, the chance to have your photograph taken with Father Christmas, and an early Christmas gift for each child.

You can also have a go at the family festive art activities in the Pop-Up Ashington Group Hut between 12-3pm. 

Festive Tales begins on Saturday 5 December 2026 and continues every weekend throughout December, with extra sessions on Monday 21, Tuesday 22, Wednesday 23, and Thursday 24 December before Father Christmas has to leave Woodhorn to deliver presents around the world.

Relaxed sessions 

Relaxed sessions are also available each day at 3pm for families who would benefit from a more informal and quieter experience. You can book Relaxed session here.
